The physical edition of GTA6 may come with a physical collectible map, and the only evidence supporting this claim so far is a photo allegedly taken in a GameStop store window.

This photo, which has been spreading on Reddit and social media, shows that promotional materials at a GameStop store mention that purchasing the physical edition of GTA6 will include a "physical collectible map." The poster also said they went into the store to ask the staff, and the staff confirmed the claim.

However, the location where this photo was taken cannot be confirmed, and what has been seen so far is only promotional material from a single store. Whether GameStop headquarters uniformly distributed this information to its stores, or whether the store created the promotional content on its own, cannot be verified.

The physical edition box of GTA6 does not contain a game disc, but instead only provides a digital download code. If a paper map is indeed included, the actual contents of the physical edition packaging will spark further discussion among players—whether paying full price for a box containing only a download code is worth it.

Rockstar's titles have historically had a tradition of including paper maps in physical editions. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both offered maps in their physical editions, but this precedent does not prove that the new game will follow the same practice.
